The Naylor technical team worked closely with KMI Water to specify just the right type of lintels for the new Water Treatment Works at Nantwich, Cheshire.

After consultation concerning properties of the concrete mix, type and position of reinforcement, finish and physical weight of the units, it was decided to use specialist CHEM-SPEC R11 lintels (140mm wide x 290mm high) along with standard HI-SPEC S5 lintels (140mm wide x 140mm high) to withstand the unusual conditions of this aggressive environment.

Deliveries were phased in over 6 weeks and delivered on flat bed vehicles for tower craneoff-load.
